Tabitha Smith is a Tennessee native who relocated to the greater Philadelphia area in 2020, earning her Master of Social Work from Temple University in 2022. Tabitha joined LCCWP as an intern and student worker in 2021 with a passion for community development and youth empowerment. She accepted the full-time role as Intake and Assessment Coordinator for LCCWP's Youth Employment Project as of April 2023. Since joining the department, she has managed and supervised the WorkReady Summer youth employment program, developed collaborative partnerships with community organizations, expanded recruitment efforts, and organized enrollment processes for multiple youth programs. Ms. Smith is passionate about the mission provided by LCCWP and strives to be an ongoing learner and change agent within our department and the Philadelphia community at large.
