Ms. Davis has been employed at Temple University for seventeen years. Her passion for helping others inspired her to pursue a degree in Social Work. She currently has a Bachelor and Master's in Social Work.
Her career at Temple has been spent providing stellar student support services in her roles as Job Developer for the Working to Unite Families Program, Case Manager for the Single Point of Contact Program, Case Manager and Instructor for New Choice and New Options Programs and Career Placement Coordinator for the Health and Information Management Program.
In her current position, she coordinates student barrier removal, recruitment and retention, initiate outreach and support services, intake and assessments, Adult Literacy via GED and HISET testing prep, co-facilitator for New Student Orientations, and conduct Individual Career Plan meetings for the Workforce Education Lifelong Learning Program.
For Barbara, It is an honor to provide quality support to the students that we serve. It is also inspiring to witness the personal and educational growth of the diverse body of students that have participated in our programs.
