Alejandra serves as Program Coordinator for PHA Cares, a community and workforce development program that hires and trains community health workers to meet the needs of PHA residents around COVID-19 and general health education. She obtained her Master's in Social Work at Temple University with a concentration on Social Policy and Community Development and a specialization in children and family. Alejandra also has a BA in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Rutgers University. Her work experience prior to holding my current position at Temple has been in the human services field and non-profit sector. 

Alejandra's nationality is Colombian, she is bilingual in English and Spanish. Beyond her work with Temple, she is involved with community development initiatives supporting immigrant populations in areas such as financial literacy and professional development. She also love her role as a mother of two and parent intentionally to pass on the values of service and leadership.
