Harold Brooks manages Temple Lenfest (LCCWP) educational services at the Philadelphia Achieving Independence Center (AIC). The AIC provides academic support and resources for youth aged 14 thru 23 involved in the Philadelphia foster care system.
For over 28 years Harold has coordinated programming for underserved Philadelphia area teenagers and young adults. Harold implemented the first ever Temple sponsored “College Bound Academy” a one-week pre-college residential experience for foster care students.
For over 20 years, Harold has served as the Artistic Director of “Love, Hate, Joy and Pain” a youth focused improvisational theater group performing in Philadelphia, the Delaware Valley and beyond. He has also collaborated with Temple HR (Training and Development) as Artistic Director of the InterAction Training Group.
Harold has served as a consultant to nonprofit community organizations, academic entities, and governmental agencies. He has facilitated trainings and workshops related to equity and inclusion, team building, and cultural competence.
