myPLACE℠ CAMPUS AT TEMPLE

Temple University’s myPLACE℠ campus is a collaboration of TU Office of Community Affairs and Engagement, Pan African Studies Community Education Program and Lenfest North Philadelphia Workforce Initiative (OWL Hub at PASCEP).

myPLACE℠ is coordinated through the Office of Children and Families to offer adult education, digital literacy and career readiness through a centralized access to assessment, educational coaching, referrals and career development services in community-based partner programs.  

OWL Hub at PASCEP provides onsite and virtual intake and orientation through Noncredit and Continuing Education Learning Management System, noncredit.temple.edu/pascep

  • Intake and Assessment based on individual needs by telephone, onsite and virtually.
  • Manual testing upon request and according to safe COVID guidelines.
  • Access to classroom and Distance Learning courses

Target Audience

The program is designed for any individual looking to develop their English, reading, writing, math and digital skills.  Also for individuals looking to obtain High School Equivalency Diploma and /or transition to training, postsecondary education and work.

Eligibility Requirements
  • No cost to participate. 

  • Must be willing to complete a full intake, orientation, coaching and referral process for proper placement.

  • Must attend scheduled assessments and be on time at the beginning of assessment time slots.  Assessments are approximately 2.5 – 3 hours. 

Application Process
  • Intake and applications are conducted virtually, and by phone.
  • Assessment may occur virtually or on site by appointment. 
  • Coaching appointments occur in person or over the phone.
  • After assessment completion and coaching, participants will receive referrals to the best program match.    
Hours of Operation

Assessment and Coaching are conducted via appointment. 

Normal hours are Monday- Friday 9:00 am- 5:00 pm.

Alternate Saturdays are possible by appointment 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
